Unit economics
Unit economics is the constraint on every other pretty slide: CAC, LTV, runway, pricing, and what “scale” does to contribution margin. I keep these next to GTM and org performance because the same number shows up in a seed model and in a sales comp plan. If payback only works in the deck, it does not work.
These pieces exist to kill a pretty forecast. CAC, LTV, pricing, runway, and scaling economics are the same constraint wearing different hats. If contribution margin only works at a scale you have never seen, say that out loud before you hire the next five sellers.
